As the District Conservationist for NRCS, Steve is responsible for working with county producers and landowners on NRCS programs that can help them address resource concerns on the land that they own or operate. Steve also works closely with the Farm Service Agency providing planning and technical assistance for the Conservation Reserve Program. Steve has been the NRCS-District Conservationist in Le Sueur County since 1994.
